After about 3 years of not owning a car in Montreal, Heidi and I are starting to crack. We’re finding public transportation difficult for getting to church, going to friends houses, or going to Ultimate games (coming up!) so we’re seriously looking at getting a car. So far, I’m shopping on craigslist and I’ve found a few cars including a Subaru and a VW that look pretty interesting.
We’re so excited to be able to have a car at our disposal again; thinking of weekend road trips, easy drives to MEC and trips for juice to the grocery store are really thrilling for us! I’ll post some pictures once we decide to buy something.

I have a 1GB USB stick (E-stick for some) that I love. I put Firefox on it and had my browser set up beautifully to work on any computer that I go to – problem was that I didn’t password protect anything on there and on my recent trip to Florida, I lost it.
If I had password protected it, no worries at all, just $20 down the drain, but that’s it. Now, if a malicious person got it and wanted to get into some of my accounts lots of the passwords are right in there! So now, I have the enviable job of finding really important accounts (like my email, blog and bank accounts) and changing the passwords. Bummer – learn your lesson USB stick travelers!

I saw this statue probably a year ago when flying through Houston and had a real good chuckle at it, like the chuckle I had when I saw New Hampshire’s license plates motto (“Live Free or Die”). I think this statue is hilarious because it makes Bush Sr look like a super hero with his stop motion bronzed jacket and tie caught mid-swing. I would have expected something a bit more subdued, but this is what we get – cool stuff, Dub-Senior!
